County Board to interview candidates for Treasurer

Sarpy County

The Sarpy County Board of Commissioners will interview applicants for County Treasurer on May 10 and May 18. Seven candidates applied to serve as Treasurer, and the Board will interview four candidates on May 10 and three candidates on May 18.

The interviews will start at 9 a.m. both days in the Sarpy County Courthouse and are open to the public. Each interview will last approximately 30 minutes.

Following the interviews, the Board will appoint a new Treasurer, who will serve until January 2023....

Parking changes at Sarpy County Courthouse

Starting Monday, April 26, the parking lot between the Sarpy County Jail and the Hall of Justice (west entrance of the Courthouse) will be closed as construction begins on the new Correctional Center.

People who need access to the courts can park on the east side of the Courthouse and use the East Entrance to the building.

Capehart Road from Grand Vista Drive to 225th Street to close

Capehart Road closure

Capehart Road between Grand Vista Drive and 225th Street will close on Monday, April 26 for construction. This project will make improvements at the BNSF Railroad Crossing at 228th Street.

Capehart will be closed for two months. Drivers needing access to this area should use Highway 6 to Schram to 234th, or Highway 6 to Fairview to 234th. See the map for more information.
