Jose M. Cabrera-Lomeli of Ralston was sentenced Monday, October 2, in Sarpy County District Court to a minimum of 160 years in prison for four counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, one count of attempted sexual assault of a child, and three related charges.
He will receive credit for 531 days already served.
The Bellevue Police Department in April of 2022 arrested Cabrera-Lomeli, 52, for crimes related to sexual abuse of minors that spanned 15 years. He was convicted April 6, 2023.
“We hope this sentence might bring a sense of closure to the strong and courageous young people whose lives have been impacted by the years of physical and mental abuse that they endured,” said Deputy Sarpy County Attorney Ben Perlman.
