Board Administration

The County Clerk/ROD Board Administration Division is responsible for producing and maintaining the records of the County Board of Commissioners, Board of Corrections, and the Board of Equalization. We help to ensure that applicable Nebraska State Statutes are executed through written procedures and policies.  Each Board is served through this division by the processing of agendas, resolutions, property valuation protests, tax exemption applications, motor vehicle tax exemptions, notices of hearings, and verification of publications.  All authorized licensing (liquor, tobacco, peddler) is processed by the Administration Division.  

 All members are trained active passport agents for the US Department of State.  Public records requests are timely processed and filed.  The division is responsible for the maintenance of NIRMA (County insurance) property, vehicle, and inland marine coverages.  

Sarpy County does not issue general business licenses.
