5 Years of Cost Free Health Care
OEF/OIF/OND combat Veterans can qualify for free medical care for any condition related to their service in Iraq/Afghanistan for five years after the date of discharge or release.

180 Day Dental Benefit
OEF/OIF combat veterans may be eligible for one-time dental care. Veteran must apply within 180 days from date of separation from active duty.

VA Health Care Eligibility for Veterans Who Served in Combat Theaters
Department of Veterans Affairs implemented policies and procedures providing free health care services and nursing home care for veterans who served in certain combat locations during their active military service for 2 years, beginning from date of release from active duty.
