Sworn Deputy Opportunities

We are very proud of our Deputies and our fast-growing community. We serve by operating:

Deputies also have the ability to join support units such as:

Deputies are no longer assigned to work in the Sarpy County Jail.  Upon successful completion of training, Deputies move right to the Road Patrol!

The current FOP Lodge #3 base Payscale (PDF) for Deputy Sheriffs ranges from $60,233.00 to $84,522.93 annually. This does not include specialty pay or overtime.

Deputies also receive $2,200 annually for the first two years for personalized equipment and $1,100 every year after.

Current policy does not require tattoos to be covered.  Deputies may proudly display their tattoos, so long as the tattoos aren't considered offensive.
